Exactly what you'll be evaluated on for the Level II Skills Test and the Observed Teaching Lesson, so you can prepare before you begin.

Part 1 — Skills Test

To pass: a pass/fail exam of 23 skill sequences. A minimum of 8/10 (80%) on every sequence is required, plus demonstration of proper stroke fundamentals at the Director's discretion.

Part 2 — Observed Teaching Lesson

To pass: a one-hour lesson with a real student, observed by an IPTPA Director against the objective checklist below. All items must be observed ("Yes") to pass.

IPTPA Level II is awarded once the written exam, the skills test, and the observed teaching lesson are all passed. Re-takes may be administered for any failed section at the Director's discretion.
